Koncert v Dome Albrechtovcov odohrajú dve legendy klasického saxofónu – Ry Noda (Japonsko) a Philippe Portejoie (Francúzsko) v sprievode Ladislava Fančoviča.
Tento koncert prezentuje saxofón ako plnohodnotný nástroj klasickej hudby, pretože je na Slovensku vnímaný prevažne ako jazzový nástroj. Jeho vynálezca Aldolphe Sax ho však cca. v roku 1843 skonštruoval práve pre účely klasickej hudby a kapiel hrajúcich pochodovú hudbu (jazz sa zrodil až o 50 rokov neskôr). Belgičan Sax chcel vytvoriť nástroj, ktorý by svojou farbou tvoril akýsi pomyselný most medzi dychovými a sláčikovými nástrojmi.
Skladateľov uchvátil jeho zvuk už v prvých rokoch a umelci prednesú na koncerte skladby pre sólový saxofón v sprievode klavíra, saxofónové duo aj trio a to ako úpravy skladieb z obdobia baroka, cez impresionizmus, romantizmus až po súčasné kompozície využívajúce nesmiernu variabilitu farieb a perkusívnych zvukov, ktoré sa dajú na saxofóne vyčarovať.
