ENNIO MORRICONE ANNOUNCES “60 YEARS OF MUSIC WORLD TOUR”

Internationally renowned Italian film composer Ennio Morricone announced that he will embark on large-scale World tour in January 2016, with a completely new program to mark his 60-year Anniversary as a professional composer and conductor.

The announcement follows a hugely successful European arena tour which saw the Maestro perform to over 150,000 audience members in 22 European cities and Prague is one of them!

The 60 Years of Music World Tour will premiere in Prague on the 15 January 2016 and than on the 19 January 2016 in Bratislava . Prague is home to Morricone’s beloved Czech National Symphony Orchestra

Ennio Morricone has composed over 500 scores for cinema and television as well as over 100 absolute music works and is the only film composer in history to have received the honorary Academy Award for his lifetime achievement. Highlights include his scores for Once Upon a Time in the West, One Upon a time in America, A Fistful of Dollars, The Untouchables, The Mission, Cinema Paradiso, The Best Offer, etc. Morricone’s score for The Good, The Bad and The Ugly holds the number two position in the Top 200 ranking of best film soundtracks ever composed.
