Speváčka a skladateľka KATARZIA , civilným menom Katarína Kubošiová je už stálicou na slovenskej hudbnej scéne.
V našom klube už Katka vystupovala s rôznymi projektami, od sólových vystúpení s gitarou až pro elektronický projekt s D´Jom . Je kreatívna a veľmi sa tešíme na jej ďaľší posun v hľadaní nových aranžmánov tak zvuku ako aj jej veľmi špecifického a rozpoznateľného spevu a frázovania.

Katarzia & Viva Musica! ensemble

She’s original and does things her way! Katarzia (real name Katarína Kubošiová) is a Slovak singer and poet with a finely-honed musical taste and an image that requires no introduction. She played her first concert in Bratislava’s Nu Spirit Club in 2012; in 2013 she issued her debut album Generation Y (Generácia Y), for which she received nominations in the Radio_Head Awards poll (RHA) in the categories Newcomer of the Year and World music / Folk. Her second album Agnostics (Agnostika) followed in 2016, where she played with such top-ranking musicians as Martin Valihora and Marek Minárik and for which she again gained nominations for the RHA (in the categories Album of the Year, Single of the Year and Album of the Year / Critics’ Prize). She is the recently-conferred holder of an RHA award in the category Single of the Year for the title song in the film Fifth Boat (Piata loď) – Where the Tears Go (Kde sa slzy berú). Alternately she lives in Slovakia and the Czech Republic; she regularly gives concerts and is constantly writing texts and music. In the Viva Musica! festival she will perform her songs in entirely new arrangements which the festival has directly commissioned, their author being the highly-regarded Czech composer and pianist Michal Nejtek (The Plastic People of the Universe, AGON, David Koller Band etc.). Songs from the album Agnostics, as well as entirely new songs, will be heard in an experimental instrumentation subtly complemented  by electronics performed by another renowned Czech composer Ivan Acher. The concert’s special guest will be the Slovak singer Katarína Máliková. In Slovak premiere, on August 9, 2018 at the Old Market Hall!
