The wait is over ... Mr. Showman is coming! British superstar JAMIROQUAI in Kosice! Unforgettable evening full of funky energy and dance explosion as a part of Grand Opening EHMK 2013! Jamiroquai is an English band playing funk, acid jazz and soul. The band was founded in 1992 by Jason Kay and Derric McKenzie. In the same year the band released their first single that was called When You Gonna Learn. One year later the first album called Emergency on Planet Earth was released. At this time, the band was known mainly in Europe. The band became known worldwide after the third album called Travelling Without Moving, which contains the two big hits Virtual Insanity and Cosmic Girl. Jamiroquai achieved real commercial success by the album called A Funk Odyssey in 2001, which was followed by a world tour. The next album called Dynamite was characterized by electronics. Beside this, the album has also house, disco and funk feel. Songs Seven Days In Sunny June, Feels Just Like It Should and (Don't) Give Hate a Chance became radio hits. In 2006, the band released the album High Times: Singles 1992-2006. The album contains the band's biggest hits and two new tracks Runaway and Radio. In 2010, Jamiroquai released their so far last album called Rock Dust Light Star.
