Don't miss the 15th European Men's Handball Championship, organized jointly by Slovakia and neighboring Hungary.
During 18 days from 13.1.2022 to 30.1.2022 you can look forward not only to 65 spectacular handball matches in 5 places (Bratislava, Budapest, Košice, Debrecen, Szeged), but also to a a bunch of accompanying activities, which embodies the motto Watch games. See more.
The tournament will feature 24 teams, including the organizing countries of Slovakia and Hungary, European champions until 2020 and vice-champions Spain and Croatia. All the games of the team coached by Peter Kukucka in preliminary round will be held in Steel Arena Kosice and if they make it to the quarterfinals, they will also play in front of the spectators at the Ondrej Nepel Winter Stadium in Bratislava.

Based on the decree of the Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic https://www.uvzsr.sk/docs/info/ut/vyhlaska_241.pdf, we recommend buying tickets only for clients who are or plan to be fully vaccinated(FV). Supporters buying tickets for matches in Slovakia must note that guaranteed entry to the event is only available those vaccinated against Covid-19.

Dear client,  

MEN´S EHF EURO 2022 will take place in vaccinated/recovered mode.  

Every attendant must be vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19. Covid pass must be provided upon entry. The status of being either vaccinated or recovered applies for every spectator not older than 12 years and 2 months.  

Wearing an FFP2 mask is mandatory for everyone.  

Only every second row will be used for seating fans with one row safety distance between the fans.
We kindly ask clients to enter their sector and choose from the available seats.   

No PCR or anti-gen test is necessary. No contact form is necessary.
All tickets remain valid.

Article I

Basic provisions

1)      Marketing SZH s.r.o as an organizer of the sports event EHF EURO 2022 that will be held on 13.1. – 26.1.2022 in the Ondrej Nepela Ice Stadium located in Odbojárov 9 in Bratislava and the Ladislav Troják Ice Stadium located in Nerudova 12 in Košice issues pursuant to Act of the National Council of the Slovak Republic No. 1/2014 Coll. on organizing public sports events and on amendment to certain other acts (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”) these Visiting and organizational rules containing all requirements related to the organization of the event, security and performance of activities of the steward duty, security measures and measures for the protection of safety, health, morality, property and environment during the event and in relation to it and details related to the participation of spectators in the event.

2)     For the purposes of these Visiting and organizational rules:

a)   Organizer of the event means: commercial company Marketing SZH s.r.o. , Trnavská cesta 37, 831 04 Bratislava, Company Identification Number: 52 227 715;

b)   National Handball Sports Association: Slovak Handball Federation, Trnavská cesta 37, 831 04 Bratislava, Company Identification Number: 30 774 772;

c)    EHF: European Handball Federation, Hoffingergasse 18, 1120 Vienna, Austria;

d)   Sports event: EHF EURO 2022, Slovakia that will be held in the period from 13 January 2022 to 26 January 2022;

e)   Venue of event: the city of Bratislava, Nové mesto City District, Bratislava III District, the Ondrej Nepela Ice Stadium located in Odbojárov 9 and the city of Košice, South City District, Košice IV District, the Ladislav Troják Ice Stadium located in Nerudova 12  

f)     Sports facility: The Ondrej Nepela Ice Stadium in Bratislava and the Ladislav Troják Ice Stadium in Košice

g)   Ticket: A policy paper authorizing for single entry to the Sports facility in relation to the Event;

h)   Owner of the ticket: A person, who bought a ticket or who acquired the ownership of ticket by a different legal manner;

i)     Participant in the event: a natural person staying at the Venue of event or near it, entering the Venue of event or leaving the Venue of event due to performance of the event, mainly the spectator;

j)     Supervisory body: The organizer, members of the organizing committee, members of the steward duty, members of the Police Force and persons authorized by the municipality for performance of supervision, delegate

k)    The steward duty is organized and controlled activity focused on the provision of peaceful course of the event in accordance with the law and the purpose of the event, keeping public order and the protection of safety, health, morality, property, environment and the provision of information and comfort for participants in the event.  The steward duty is provided by the main steward, security manager and stewards.

l)     The Security manager organizes and manages the organization of the event,and provides for fulfilment of tasks according to instructions of the event organizer.

m)  The main steward  is a skilled steward appointed by the event organizer to organize and manage activity of the steward duty, prepare, manage, carry out and evaluate security measures at the Venue of event.

n)   The steward is a natural person identified with the reflex vest with a distinct notice “STEWARD” or “SECURITY” with number both on front and rear parts of the vest.

o)   Participant in the event is a natural person staying at the Venue of event or near it, entering the Venue of event or leaving the Venue of event due to performance of the event, mainly the:

                                   i.           spectator

                                  ii.          person participating in the event in relation to the performance of sports activity

                                iii.          person participating in the event in relation to organizing the event

                                iv.          person participating in the event in relation to the performance of his/her profession (a member of the Police Force of the Slovak Republic, Fire-fighting and Rescuing Force, rescuer, journalist, photographer, member of TV staff, radio staff or other medium etc.)

                                 v.          accredited person

 

Article II

Sports facility

1)     Entry to the sports facility:

a) Based on the decree of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic  https://www.uvzsr.sk/docs/info/ut/vyhlaska_241.pdf)  the organizer informs that in case of worsened COVID-19 situation in Slovakia the event will take place in the mode of complete vaccination system. In this case, only fully vaccinated persons will be admitted to the event. Acceptable are only vaccines officially approved by the World Health Organization (WHO), the updated list of which can be found HERE.

Person is considered to be fully vaccinated:

a)   at least 14 days and not more than 12 months after administration of the second dose of a two-dose vaccine,

b)   at least 21 days and not more than 12 months after administration of a singledose vaccine,

c)   at least 14 days and not more than 12 months after administration of the first dose of vaccine, if it was administered up to 180 days after recovery from COVID-19 disease

d)   a person under 12 years of age

e)     For spectators – owners of tickets and season tickets to sectors – it is possible only through one of entrances intended for this purpose.

f)       For immobile spectators – owners of tickets – the entry is possible only through a special entrance intended for this purpose and identified with a small icon of the wheelchair bound.

g)     is allowed for spectators 1.5 hours before the beginning of the first match on the specified day.

h)     In the case if the spectator is not able to identify with the valid ticket to the steward, this person will be considered unauthorized spectator, and will have to leave the event.

2)     The event organizer is responsible for damages to health and property caused to the participant in event only in the case if they were caused by the failure to observe the legal regulations by the event organizer, by intentional or negligent action of natural persons, who are employed or are in other contractual relationship with the event organizer.

3)     In the case if the spectator causes damage, injury or personal accident to himself/herself due to his/her failure to observe the visiting and organizational rules, failure to observe instructions of stewards, the organizer is not liable for such damages, injuries or personal accidents. All damages caused to the organizer by the participant in event originating by the action of the participant in event and by failure to observe the visiting and organizational rules will be recovered according to the valid legal regulations.

         

                                                             

Article III

Authorities and duties of the steward

 

1)      The steward is entitled:

                  The steward is entitled:

a) to convince by the eyes, touch or by technical devices, whether the natural person entering the venue of event has not with him/her or on him/her the following items:

·        pyrotechnic product,

·        firearm,

·        cool weapon,

·        or other item that can be used for stronger attack against the body except their use for the performance of sports activities,

·        written, graphic, image, acoustic or video-acoustic preparation of:

-         texts and declarations, flags, badges, slogans or symbols of groups or movements and their programmes or ideologies heading towards suppression of basic human right and freedoms,

-         defending, supporting or initiating hate, violence or unjustified different treatment with a group of persons or an individual due to their affiliation to a race, nation, nationality, flesh-colour, ethnic group, origin, gender or religion,

                          the touch inspection shall be carried out by the steward of the same gender,

b) to prevent entry of the natural person to the event bringing items to the venue of event listed in par. 1 letter a) or who is apparently intoxicated with alcohol, narcotics or psychotropic substances,

c) to call the spectator to leave the venue of event, if after warning about his/her inconvenient behaviour or action and request to refrain from such action, he/she continues by his/her behaviour or action in violation of the public order or peaceful course of the event, continues in inconvenient behaviour or action, or if he/she refuses to obey the steward´s call for moving to the respective sector reserved for guests,

d) to take out the spectator and to forbid his/her further participation in the event, if he/she refused to obey the instruction under letter c),

e) to require proof of identification of the participant in event in relation to breach of duties of the participant in event.

 

2)     The steward is obliged:

a) to carry out activities of the steward duty in such a way which reflects the current measures of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic or other competent public institutions in connection with the prevention of the COVID-19 spread.

b) to carry out activities of the steward duty in such a way to ensure security of the participants in event,

c) to carry out activities of steward duty in such a way that his/her behaviour or action would not be reason for initiation or spreading of rough impertinence or riot of the participants in event,

d) to convince, whether an authorized natural person wants to participate in the event person, and to require proof of identity of the participant in event for this purpose,

e) not to allow entry to the event for the natural person,

1. whose participation in the event was forbidden according to this act or according to the special regulation,

2. who fails to demonstrate trustworthy his/her identity, if he/she was asked for it by the steward,

3. for whom it is possible to reasonably anticipate that he/she will breach the public order or peaceful course of the event, or

4. A person younger than 14 years without any escort of a full-aged natural person in the case of the risky event,

f) to secure the item listed in Article II par. 1 letter a) and to hand it over to the member of the Police Force,

g)   to warn the participant in event about inconvenience of his/her behaviour or action, and to require him/her to refrain from it, if he/she breaches the public order and peaceful course of the event by his/her behaviour,

 

 

Article IV.

Obligations and bans for the participants in event

 

       1)       The participant in event is obliged:

a)   to observe the visiting and organizational rules

b)  to follow the instructions of the event organizer, stewards, members of the Police Force, members of the municipal police and of the supervisory body, and refrain from everything that would breach the public order or peaceful course of the event.

c)  to refrain from the use of alcoholic drinks during the event, if the municipality issued prohibition of sale, offer or use of alcoholic drinks in the event and the use of narcotics or psychotropic substances during the event,

d) to tolerate actions of the steward related to breach of obligations of the participant in event during the performance of authorizations and duties of the steward pursuant to  Article II Authorities and duties of the participant in event

e) after termination of the event, to leave peacefully the venue of event within 30 minutes,

f)   to follow and observe the provisions of Act of the National Council of the Slovak Republic No. 1/2014 Coll. on organization of public sports events and on amendment to certain other acts.

g)   to have the valid ticket during the entire stay in the sports facility and to show it based on the steward´s request. The ticket is valid only for the sector, row and seat stated on it, and the participant in event is obliged to watch the event from this place. The ticket is valid only for one entry to the sports facility. In the case of necessity of repeated entry, the ticket owner is obliged to mark it in one of turnstiles when leaving the sports facility, and during return back, to use the entrance through the turnstile on the floor, where is his/her seat according to the valid ticket or season ticket.

h)   If the particular sector and the particular number of seat are stated on the ticket, the participant is obliged to watch the event from this place.

 

 2)      The participant in event is forbidden

a)   to visit the event under influence of alcohol, narcotic or psychotropic substances,

b)   to cover his/her face making difficult or preventing his/her identification,

c)    to use state symbols of foreign states or their predecessors by a disparaging manner or by different manner by which it is possible to initiate violation of the public order or to endanger the normal course of the domestic event,

d)   to use alcoholic drinks during moving to the venue of event or from the venue of event in areas of public transport and in vehicles of mass transportation,

e)   to enter areas of the sports facilities during the event without the consent of the organizer,

f)     to throw things to the area of the sports facility,

g)   to damage and destruct the property of the sports facility,

h)   to behave vulgarly to the other visitors to event, to offend them by non-verbal defamatory gestures,

i)     To attack physically any other participant in event,  

j)     to bring to the venue of event:

                             i.    or to use a pyrotechnic product, firearm, cold weapon or other thing that can be used for stronger attack against the body except their use for the performance of sports activities,

                            ii.    state symbols of foreign states or their predecessors for domestic event during which the public order can be violated or safety, health or morality of the participants in event can be endangered,

                           iii.    written, graphic, image, acoustic or video-acoustic preparation of:

-   texts and declarations, flags, badges, slogans or symbols of groups or movements and their programmes or ideologies heading towards suppression of basic human right and freedoms,

-   defending, supporting or initiating hate, violence or unjustified different treatment with a group of persons or an individual due to their affiliation to a race, nation, nationality, flesh-colour, ethnic group, origin, gender or religion,

                          iv.    any beverages and food,

                            v.    devices producing noise due to mechanical action of fixed parts, air, gas or if they are driven electronically (whistles, vuvuzelas, rattles, pressure sound sprays, megaphones etc.),

                          vi.    devices, which light radiation acts on the other participants in event (torches, flashers, beacons, laser spotters etc.)

                         vii.    any device or instrument used for making sound/sound-video records, broadcasting or distributing by any other manner through internet or other medium, sound/sound-video records, reports, descriptions or results of the Event as a whole or its part except mobile phones, tablets and PDA devices,

                        viii.    any animal,

                          ix.    advertising and commercial items of any nature, mainly banners, notices, leaflets, gifts, symbols and other commercial-advertising materials,

k)    to bring into the sports facility scaffold:

                             i.    or to use a pyrotechnic product, firearm, cold weapon or other thing that can be used for stronger attack against the body except their use for the performance of sports activities,

                            ii.    state symbols of foreign states or their predecessors for domestic event during which the public order can be violated or safety, health or morality of the participants in event can be endangered,

                           iii.    written, graphic, image, acoustic or image-acoustic preparation of:

-   texts and declarations, flags, badges, slogans or symbols of groups or movements and their programmes or ideologies heading towards suppression of basic human right and freedoms,

-   defending, supporting or initiating hate, violence or unjustified different treatment with a group of persons or an individual due to their affiliation to a race, nation, nationality, flesh-colour, ethnic group, origin, gender or religion,

                          iv.    any beverages and food,

                            v.    devices producing noise due to mechanical action of air, gas or they are driven electronically (whistles, vuvuzelas, pressure sound sprays, megaphones etc.),

                          vi.    devices, which light radiation acts on the other participants in event (torches, flashers, beacons, laser spotters etc.)

                         vii.    any device or instrument used for making sound/sound-video records, broadcasting or spreading by any other manner through internet or other medium, sound/sound-video records, reports, descriptions or results of the Event as a whole or its part except mobile phones, tablets and PDA devices,

                        viii.    any animal,

                          ix.    advertising and commercial items of any nature, mainly banners, notices, leaflets, gifts, symbols and other commercial-advertising materials,

l)     In the case of breach of any ban in accordance with the Visiting and organizational rules, failure to respect the call of the Supervisory body, the organizer reserves the right to banish the violator from the venue of event and/or from the sports facility without any entitlement for reimbursement of the ticket price.

 

 

Article V

Conditions for the use of the ticket and prohibition of advertising-promotional activities

 

1.      The owner of the ticket and/or the participant in event undertakes to observe the Visiting and organizational rules in relation to the acquisition of the ticket, as well as in relation to the visit of the venue of event and sports facility. The participant in event participating in the event by his/her presence at the venue of event and/or in the sports facility manifests his/her consent with shooting his/her person in relation to the event at the venue of event and/or in the sports facility including subsequent public distribution or by any other use of the sound-video record with his/her photograph.

2.      It is PROHIBITED to distribute, mediate, sell, exhibit or offer for sale the tickets for event without the consent of the event organizer.  Without authorization of the organizer and consent of EHF it is prohibited to offer tickets for resale, return to sale, use as advertising, promotional or any other commercial purposes, for example a promotional gift, as a prize within the framework of promotional and consumer competitions, raffles and tombolas, quizzes, entertainment games and other activities intended mainly for support of sale and services.

3.      Unjustified changing, forgery and copying of tickets are PROHIBITED. The aforementioned action can result in administrative or criminal liability. 

4.      Any natural person present at the venue of event and/or in the sports facility must not carry out actions heading to any advertising including hidden one, exhibit commercial and/or advertising items and notices and sell the goods or services related to the event. In the case of violation of prohibition under Article 2 of Instructions, the organizer reserves the right to banish the violator from the venue of event and/or from the sports facility without any entitlement for reimbursement of the ticket price.

  

 

          These Visiting and organizational rules shall enter into force on September 10th 2021.
