STARMUS VII: The Future of Our Home Planet 

The festival offers a multi-day program:

• 4 days of inspirational lectures and panel discussions  

May 13-14, 16-17, 2024, daily from 2:00 PM to 6.30 PM, TIPOS Arena, Bratislava

Over 50 exclusive guests from around the world including 8 Nobel Prize Laureates, astronauts, scientists, environmental experts, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity specialists. Among them are ethologist Jane Goodall, Nobel Laureates Michel Mayor, Emmanuelle Charpentier, Kip Thorne, astronauts Charlie Duke and Chris Hadfield, innovators Tony Fadell and Bernhard Schölkopf, Garik Israelian, the co-founder of STARMUS festival and musical legend and co-founder of STARMUS festival Brian May of QUEEN fame.

• Stephen Hawking Medal Ceremony & SONIC Universe Concert: THE OFFSPRING

May 15, 2024, 6:30 PM, TIPOS Arena, Bratislava

An unforgettable evening of honoring world-renowned personalities with the prestigious Stephen Hawking Medal for excellence in scientific communication across four categories: Music and Art, Science Writing, Film and Entertainment, and Lifetime Achievement.
Previous recipients of this esteemed award include well-known names such as Neil deGrasse Tyson, Brian May, Elon Musk, producers of "The Big Bang Theory," Jane Goodall, Hans Zimmer, Buzz Aldrin, producers of the "Apollo 11" documentary, and many others. Who will be next?

Hosted by popular British science comedian Robin Ince and festival co-founders Garik Israelian and Brian May.
Headline musical acts including singer Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet and American punk-rock band The Offspring playing at their one-off SONIC Universe concert following the awards.

An exclusive STARMUS party under the stars at a unique location of Devin castle. Explore the universe with STARMUS astrophysicists and view stars and galaxies through professional telescopes.
Enjoy food and drinks at the STARMUS food court and enjoy music by local and International Dj´s and one of the famous pop-rock band.
Venue opens: from 5:00 PM.
Dj´s starts: from 18:00 - 21:00 PM

Concert starts: from 9:00 - 11:00 PM: by Billy Barman.

Shuttle transportation to Devin Castle provided from under the SNP Bridge and back through the mala scéna bus stop

Festival ticket holders will have a special area reserved near the stage (until capacity of the special area is reached) 

• The STARMUS festival events will be conducted in English.
• Assigned seating (ROW, SEAT) will only apply to the Stephen Hawking Medal Ceremony on May 15th. The subsequent SONIC Universe concert by THE OFFSPRING (after a break necessary for concert setup) will have a concert-style setup with standing areas in front of the stage, thus offering combined open areas for standing and sitting.
  Other events (lectures and discussions) will have OPEN SEATING (ticket numbers do not apply, seats are not assigned)
• Important - the discount for holders of discount codes applies only to the basic price of the festival ticket and cannot be combined with any other discount or discounted ticket. The discount code cannot be applied to solo events: „Stephen Hawking Medal Awards & SONIC Universe concert by The Offspring“, „STAR Party“, or the solo „4-day conference ticket“.
• Festival tickets guarantee access to all STARMUS festival events taking place in TIPOS Arena
• STAR Party has a limited capacity up to 3000 people, access to the event will be granted only to tickets scanned at the entrance to Devin Castle area until this capacity is reached.
